So, I don't know if anyone's noticed, it's been pretty subtle, but there's definitely been a pretty big rash of people turning into animals (AND PLANTS!) these last couple of days, so I'm sure you all know where this is going! It's time for my big con weekend where I actually take a break from the game for a while to be a big old nerd in a convention center for a weekend, adding Rosa to my growing list of "FH Characters I've Also Cosplayed As", and overall having a good time (we hope).
Which means that several of my characters will be either unavailable or turned into animals (OR PLANTS) for the duration, probably until sometime later in next week. Do I really need to do all this? No, probably not. But it's fun and it's tradition (and you don't fuck with tradition!), and sometimes gives me amusing things to read while waiting in line, so I'm doing it anyway!
That said, since this does affect practically half the population of the island when I go AFK (I don't have a problem, shut up, I can quit anytime I want!), and because I'm a weird little goblin who loves a good list, here's the basic breakdown of who and what and modding rights:
Summer is currently a squirrel in care of that glowy alien with whom she has no vibes, Rosa is a panther with modding rights to that guy she lives with and her various Asses. Amaya is an actual special rabbit under the watchful eye of that woman she clearly has no particular emotional attachment to, and Libby is an adorable lamb that her ~booooooyfriiiiend~ now is responsible for. Charlie has got a hold on bandicoot Graham, Prompto is going to be the best puppy babysitter for his daughter and is absolutely moddable by his wife, and Boc is a tree all by his lonesome out in the preserve for a while. Gladio is an actual gladiolus, and is moddable by Ignis (trust me, it makes sense in my head), who will be keeping to himself (and his plant bestie) for the weekend and just sighing a lot. Shunsui and Sidon has Important Duties that they are handwavily taking care of back home (their classes will be, respectively, canceled this week), and Sakaki will be gone for the weekend for a university tour of a school she'd hoping accepts her into their veterinary program.
And I think that's everyone? Please let me know if I've forgotten one of my own characters; it is known to happen on occasion!
But anyway, just a head's up that you all saw coming, I'm going to be pretty scarce for about a week, though I'm definitely still ~around~ish~ if I'm needed, but other than maybe a little dabbling here and there, I'll see you guys back in full-force again sometime next week!
