Room 304; Early Wednesday Evening [03/04]: Summer (and Amaya!)'s Pre-Pub Crawl Jello Shot Pre-Game.
You know, Summer was feeling pretty proud of herself, for not only throwing together a (totally responsible adult) room party, but also managing to make all the jello shots she wanted to and still making sure to eventually give herself the time to go and fulfil a long-held childhood dream of being a mermaid (sort of; ugh, mermaid!dimension Summer was, like, such a stupid lucky bitch!).
And she did not skimp on the shots, either. She had Under the Sea shots and Shark Attack shots, the classic and classy Sex on the Beach shot, Pina Colada, Ocean Margarita, Mango Cosmopolitan...
...needless to say, there were choices. And plenty of leftover booze from making them if anyone wanted to just skip the jello part. If Summer would let them, anyway.
So now all she needed was people to show up. Which she hoped they would. She was kind of trying not to think about if no one did. And not just because Amaya had already started lining up a few shots with a thoughtful, speculative look on her face as if trying to figure out the quickest way to down them in a race.
For both of their sakes, she hoped people showed up. Please, save these two from themselves.
[[ posted here to save the poor evening thread and posted early because I have to scuttle off to work. Open to all the ~adults~ of the group who would have received the invite, though I suppose students could definitely try to sneak in. No OCD, just come in, hang out, have jello! ]]

And putting some of the shots on sticks.
What? She thought it was funny!
But yeah, as much as Amaya considered herself a woman of action, she was more than okay with letting Summer take the charge on this one.

"From what?" she asked.
Because she may have forgotten that she'd actually been sick last week.
In her defense, though, she had been drugged with sleeping pills for most of it.
And she was also wont to deny that she'd even been sick in the first place.

"~Movie Class-chaaaan~~ ♥," he sang as he drifted over, all robes and imaginary cherry blossoms. "You look like you could use some sake to go with your jello shots ♥!"

Amaya took a moment to debate with herself, and then eyed that cup being offered out to her, and then the person offering it to her.
"No strings?" she ventured, just to make sure.
no subject
It was a good excuse.
"Quite a selection," she said as she saw the jello shots.

Said the person who was useless at pacing.

That, and she did love a good pub crawl. Even on being headed by Baby Linetti.

"So, did you enjoy pushing me off a cliff?"

... What? He was open to conversation, but he was going into this with no other intention than simply 'Detective!'-ing.
Call him nostalgic.
no subject
Because she really didn't have any intention other than 'Doughnuts'-ing back. Not out of nostalgia or anything. Not even out of spite. Just out of the fact that she didn't really do conversation if she could help it.

...to write this whole thing off as a possible business-networking thing, of course! Why? What else could he have meant?

He was even dressed, nice white shirt and blue vest and all. You didn't bring a speedo to a pre-pub crawl, unless of course you were in the suburbs and attempting to annoy a grumpy, gorilla-handed fake husband-- anyway.
"Is this," he called from the door, "where I can find the jello?"
no subject
"There's a good variety to choose from, too," she noted. "Come on in, join the party. I'm glad you could make it."
Even if it was super annoying that she found she really meant that.

And because she'd brought a toddler on vacation, she could pick up a Jell-O shot and say, "I deserve this."
no subject
"Though, I have to admit," she grinned a Kitty a little, making little waggling wavey fingers of greeting at Lexi, "a little toddler was not a part of my original vision for this thing." The smile went apologetic. "I'd have made her some normal jello if I'd have known..."
no subject
Lexi was trying to make an unsuccessful grab for the empty cup Kitty had, though.
