Room 304; Early Wednesday Evening [03/04]: Summer (and Amaya!)'s Pre-Pub Crawl Jello Shot Pre-Game.
You know, Summer was feeling pretty proud of herself, for not only throwing together a (totally responsible adult) room party, but also managing to make all the jello shots she wanted to and still making sure to eventually give herself the time to go and fulfil a long-held childhood dream of being a mermaid (sort of; ugh, mermaid!dimension Summer was, like, such a stupid lucky bitch!).
And she did not skimp on the shots, either. She had Under the Sea shots and Shark Attack shots, the classic and classy Sex on the Beach shot, Pina Colada, Ocean Margarita, Mango Cosmopolitan...
...needless to say, there were choices. And plenty of leftover booze from making them if anyone wanted to just skip the jello part. If Summer would let them, anyway.
So now all she needed was people to show up. Which she hoped they would. She was kind of trying not to think about if no one did. And not just because Amaya had already started lining up a few shots with a thoughtful, speculative look on her face as if trying to figure out the quickest way to down them in a race.
For both of their sakes, she hoped people showed up. Please, save these two from themselves.
[[ posted here to save the poor evening thread and posted early because I have to scuttle off to work. Open to all the ~adults~ of the group who would have received the invite, though I suppose students could definitely try to sneak in. No OCD, just come in, hang out, have jello! ]]

He was even dressed, nice white shirt and blue vest and all. You didn't bring a speedo to a pre-pub crawl, unless of course you were in the suburbs and attempting to annoy a grumpy, gorilla-handed fake husband-- anyway.
"Is this," he called from the door, "where I can find the jello?"

"There's a good variety to choose from, too," she noted. "Come on in, join the party. I'm glad you could make it."
Even if it was super annoying that she found she really meant that.

"What can I say?" she said, shrugging one shoulder, and giving him a faint smirk. "I know my stuff. Be right back."
She went to go collect a little sampling of all the different shots, while also telling her to collect her shit, because what. the. hell, Summer.
Then she was back, with a small tray of each of the shots neatly, prettily arranged. "You know want to know what's what?" she asked. "Or are we going in blind?"

Lucifer was still grinning when she got back. "Ah, you know me, I like to live dangerously," he said merrily, reaching for the first shot. "Besides, aesthetics demands I do these in order regardless."

She was kind of hoping to avoid more than the first, though, which was what made her beaming grin back so particularly annoying.
But she had worked on sort of a plan to curb it a little.
"Well," she said, as she sutbly tried to abandon the whole tray into Lucifer's possession, "as much as I'm dying to hear what you think, I wouldn't be a very good host if I spent all night playing favorites, would I? I should go," clear her head a little...probably with vodka, "make sure everyone else is being properly jello'd and let you enjoy those in peace. And maybe," she emphasized it with a grin, "I'll be around later to see which one you liked best."

"Are you trying to poison me?" he asked, amused. "Or simply trying to play hard to get? Come on, miss Smith. At least drink one with me."

But, at the moment, Summer was just contending with a persistent whine of daaaammmmiiiiitttttt! in the back of her head, because she thought that was good on her part. Like, really good. But it didn't take into account the fact that he was, like, really really good.
But maybe if she focused on the challenge of it, she could ignore the other stuff more easily, too.
"Are you," she shot back smoothly, "trying to monopolize all my time and keep me from my other guests? But you're right. We should at least do one together."
Or two. Because she was definitely grabbing two of the nearest ones for herself.
Dammit!

But Summer did have to note that she felt she was holding her own pretty well over here, and that wasn't nothing. Even if that little pep of confidence managed to let some of the complete spazzy dork inside of her out enough that, when she lifted her shot in response, she moved it in to 'clink' it against Lucifer's before downing it like a champ to show that she was just as good at taking jello shots as she was at making them.
But not, like, in a desperate, pathetic way or anything. Obviously.
And she finished with a contented sort of sigh as she looked around the room. "It is a pretty good start, isn't it?" she said proudly, and feeling it was important to note that this was just the first part, what with stupid comments about later plans being the whole reason she was even being a complete spazzy dork inside in the first place.

He grinned sunnily. "It does seem to have brought in a crowd."

Seivarden was currently cheating, with a glass of unjellified cheap rum.

Seivarden considered herself the best person to do that, of course.

She snorted, amused. "Are you saying I'm coming across as overprotective?"

This might be funny coming from Seivarden.
"So far she's doing fine though."
She threw a glance in Amaya's direction then turned back to Lucifer, grinning. "Any plans after this?"
