Room 304; Early Wednesday Evening [03/04]: Summer (and Amaya!)'s Pre-Pub Crawl Jello Shot Pre-Game.

You know, Summer was feeling pretty proud of herself, for not only throwing together a (totally responsible adult) room party, but also managing to make all the jello shots she wanted to and still making sure to eventually give herself the time to go and fulfil a long-held childhood dream of being a mermaid (sort of; ugh, mermaid!dimension Summer was, like, such a stupid lucky bitch!).

And she did not skimp on the shots, either. She had Under the Sea shots and Shark Attack shots, the classic and classy Sex on the Beach shot, Pina Colada, Ocean Margarita, Mango Cosmopolitan...

...needless to say, there were choices. And plenty of leftover booze from making them if anyone wanted to just skip the jello part. If Summer would let them, anyway.

So now all she needed was people to show up. Which she hoped they would. She was kind of trying not to think about if no one did. And not just because Amaya had already started lining up a few shots with a thoughtful, speculative look on her face as if trying to figure out the quickest way to down them in a race.

For both of their sakes, she hoped people showed up. Please, save these two from themselves.

[[ posted here to save the poor evening thread and posted early because I have to scuttle off to work. Open to all the ~adults~ of the group who would have received the invite, though I suppose students could definitely try to sneak in. No OCD, just come in, hang out, have jello! ]]

Amaya's head tilted curiously.

"From what?" she asked.

Because she may have forgotten that she'd actually been sick last week.

In her defense, though, she had been drugged with sleeping pills for most of it.

And she was also wont to deny that she'd even been sick in the first place.

"From last week," Seivarden said, giving her a stern look.

"Last wee--?" Amaya blinked, genuinely confused for a moment before the realization struck her. "Oh! That." She snorted, waving a dismissive hand. "That was just a bug! And, like a bug, easily squashed."

Naturally, that was accompanied by a gesture of pounding a fist into her palm.

"Right as rain now, though, and that's a promise."

The last few days before the trip were a bit of a fuzzy blur, but she wasn't about to admit that.

"Are you sure?"

At least Amaya looked ok. Seivarden was going to trust that.

Now Amaya's arms were folded in front of her, and that earlier stern look that Seivarden had given her was being handed right on back.

"I said it's a promise, didn't I?"

She knew she was stubborn about admitting when she wasn't feeling well, but this wasn't one of those moments.

"I just wanted to make sure," Seivarden said quickly, then smiled.

"Not really a night for a drinking competition at least."
special_rabbit: (heh.)

"That," said Amaya, "sounds exactly like the sort of thing someone who needs a drinking competition would say."

No, actually, it didn't, Amaya, but okay.

She grinned back. "And," she added, which sounded very much like an and that shouldn't be added, "I can't think of a better way to prove to you that I'm feeling fine than kicking your butt all night."

Honestly, Seivarden, you should know better by now than to even mention even a hint of a competition.

Seivarden should know better. She realised that now.

"I..." she began.

"We can start you out easy, if you like," Amaya prompted with a shameless grin, her eyes already sparking with the challenge. "First one to get through four get to set the rules on the next one."

She could manage four, and then she could set the rules. Just to keep Amaya from challenging someone else.

She hesitated.

"Ok then."

Rosa Diaz was in the same room and Seivarden thought Amaya wouldn't be challenging someone else? That was cute.

It was kind of a shock that they hadn't already had a contest or two yet.

But her hesitation did make Amaya frown a little. It wasn't as much fun if she wasn't going to be as into it, but, then again, Seivarden did tend to start out with that hesitation, but all bets were off once they really got going.

"I'll even let you pick the flavors!" she offered, to help sweeten the deal.

"One of each?" Seivarden suggested

Amaya took a moment to appreciate the fact that there were actually more than four different flavors, and she should know, she helped make a good deal of them.

"One of each," she agreed, grinning broadly, and then pounding a fist into her palm. "Let's do this."

It should be particularly interesting with the ones that had gummy candies in them!

Seivarden realised too late that there were more than four, and she didn't want to face the look on Amaya's face if she changed her mind.

"Let's get the shots." She grinned, aware that this was probably a bad idea.
