Well, after tonight, Summer could finally stop stressing out about Annie's Bachelorette Party and start stressing out about the Wedding Proper (although, really, this was Annie they were talking about, clearly things were taken care of and covered, but Summer felt it was her duty, as maid of honor, to flail at least a little bit extra, just in case). So that was nice! And in clear defiance of any accusations of dick-themed shenanigans or planets covered in nothing but either jello or boobs, she had a seriously Classy As Fuck evening planned for everyone, because Annie was a Classy Ass Lady and this was all about her, anyway.

Besides, Summer Smith, contrary to popular belief, did know how to read a room. Sometimes.

Which was why this particular party was not being kicked off in a strip club or night club or even just a bar....but at a quaint farm/apple orchard just north of Baltimore.

"I don't think Tino should be near them," Annie noted, feeling wise for this foresight. "And they're all like, special occasion-y. I'm honored to be part of their debut."

She was also just feeling pretty honored in general overall, today.

Good! That was kind of the whole point.

"I've been really starting to feel the limitations of jello as a medium a lot lately," Summer confided, tempted to go for another one, but reminding herself that they had champagne, "so it's really nice sometimes to just branch out with something new and know it'll still be appreciated."

"These are amazing, and kind of dangerous," Annie noted, realistically (but that wasn't stopping her from having another.) "And like, I get that. You don't want to be pigeon-holed. But it is convenient how you like to stick to, like, solid liquor."

So little sloshing! Important.

"That's it," Summer decided, like it was some kind of eureka moment. "Solid liquor, that's the new blanket term for anyone who might start pouting if I start deviating from jello more. After a while, you really have got to diversify."

"Also covers pudding," Annie pointed out, sure that at some point Summer had used pudding in a shot she'd consumed. "And those cute little baby cheesecakes. I wonder if, like, slushies count? Or like, very thick boozy shakes."

Oh, man, you know what Annie could go for later? A super boozy malt. That might need to be a post-dance acquisition, if she wasn't more in need of a loaf of bread or something.

"I have done pudding before," Summer confirmed, and no one had called her out on it, either, so that did bode well. "But I think slushies might lean a little too close to liquidy. Plus, I get enough of that at T&C, and I wouldn't want to tread too closely to your blended drink territory."

"Okay, okay, okay," Annie hedged, having enough shots that she needed three okays, "I appreciate that, since I have, like, no other bartending skills, but -- what about boozy ice cream? Is that a thing? Like, straight up, eat it from a cone, ice cream you can get drunk from? Because that sounds like it should be a thing."

"Oh, there's got to be," said Summer, who, since her phone was already out and primed from talking with Kimiko, wasted absolutely no time in googling it.

"Oh, it totally is."

Her fingers went flying over her phone.

"I'm totally ordering some of this for the store."
