Text messages had ~~oh so handwavily~~ gone out to all the chaperones on the trip that Summer's Jello Shot Room Party would be happening that Wednesday, of course, followed by an afterparty over at Karaoke Kan's Shibuya location. Because, at this point, a jello shot room party and some sort of afterparty was practically tradition. And to steal a phrase from another character: Tradition? Don't mess with it!

(That was totally how it went, right?)

Either way, through an series of complicated arrangements that allowed her to pull off her usual serving of shots, Summer (and Barry!) had put together a fine selection, and then she went to get the room prepared after spending some time around Tokyo (and, like, sort of chaperoning, too? Because that was what they were there for, right?), and wondering if the size of the room might actually work to their benefit in getting everyone ready to get out to the bar for some karaoke!

"Not exactly local, per se," Shunsui admitted, with a little circle of his hand in the air to indicate that it was all rather complicated and not worth delving into when there could be much more entertaining topics at hand, "but close enough to count ♥. Perhaps after the karaoke, once the songbirds have settled in to roost, I can help give you at least a better idea, then, neh, Faye-chan ♥.

"I see you've already got a drink," he added, with a nod to her beer, "but might I interest you in an upgrade?" He lifted his sake jug. "Assuming you haven't already been sake'd out ♥?"

Could there even be such a thing?

"Hey, why choose just one?" Faye decided, setting her beer down on the closest surface. "There's no such thing as being sake'd out."

Faye had arrogantly said similar things before, and thus had learned that one could easily be, for instance, tequila'd out.

"A woman after my own heart ♥," Shunsui remarked with a chuckle, as he procured a cup for Faye and poured her some, passing it over before pouring a little for himself as well. "Shall we make a toast to an exceptional evening, Faye-chan ♥?"

"To an exceptional evening," Faye agreed, lifting her cup with a sly little smile, "and exceptional company."

Look, it helped that she had liked him during three-minute dates; she wasn't totally just being an opportunist because of her sleeping situation.

There were certainly worse things to be take advantage of for! Shunsui looked positively pleased at Faye-chan's perfect little addition before lifting his cup and enjoying a considerable sip.

"So," he then said, pouring a little bit more into his cup although it was far from empty yet, "Faye-chan. How have you been since our last lovely ecounter ♥?"

"Oh, I've been good. Keeping busy," she answered easily, because you know, she'd stolen a guy's wallet (sandwich bag) and had vaguely plotted at least four murders, so it was true. "How have you been? Not too lonely, I hope."

Oh no, she secretly did hope.

"Never too lonely ♥," Shunsui assured Faye with a crooked grin, although that was categorically an outrageous lie, but certainly nothing that needed to be admitted to now...or pretty much ever, to anyone, "thought the quality of my company has very clearly improved significantly this evening ♥.
