Text messages had ~~oh so handwavily~~ gone out to all the chaperones on the trip that Summer's Jello Shot Room Party would be happening that Wednesday, of course, followed by an afterparty over at Karaoke Kan's Shibuya location. Because, at this point, a jello shot room party and some sort of afterparty was practically tradition. And to steal a phrase from another character: Tradition? Don't mess with it!

(That was totally how it went, right?)

Either way, through an series of complicated arrangements that allowed her to pull off her usual serving of shots, Summer (and Barry!) had put together a fine selection, and then she went to get the room prepared after spending some time around Tokyo (and, like, sort of chaperoning, too? Because that was what they were there for, right?), and wondering if the size of the room might actually work to their benefit in getting everyone ready to get out to the bar for some karaoke!

"Faye!" Summer beamed when she saw her, bouncing over to say hello. Not that there was very far to bounce. "It's good to see you!"

And she really, really meant that! Sometimes, she got nervous, about things going stale, about her parties losing their oomph, if it was just too much of the same circle of her close friends.

Though, to be fair, her circle of close friends was pretty wide...

"How's it going, Summer?" Faye greeted her with a small smile. "Did you make all of these?"

That was a lot of effort for a vacation, Summer.

Pffft. Vacation. Jello shots didn't take vacations.

"I had some help this time," Summer admitted, with a pleased little smile that almost went teetering into a blush, "but, yeah, we mixed them all up this morning. They turned out pretty good, too! You'll have to try them all and let me know which you liked most."

"Not a problem." Faye was going to start with these jello shots, which seemed to nicely combine her love of intoxicants with little pretty things that looked like candy, so, like, A-plus there. "Heard we might be going out for karaoke later?"

Maybe she could sleep in a karaoke booth if other options didn't pan out? That sounded kind of terrible.

"Oh," said Summer, emphatically, "we are definitely going out for karaoke later."

Probably actually sooner rather than later, this room may be bigger than some, but it was not that big and there was still a decent amount of people.

"You a fan?"

Please say yes, Faye, the amount of people who were actually not down with the 'roke was making her a little saaaad.

"Fan of watching," Faye told her quickly. "We'll see how trashed I get. Might be persuaded to get up there."

Considering Faye's singing voice, everyone honestly should hope that she just spectated.

Boooooo.

But!

"The place we're going to has an all-you-can-drink speee~cial~," said Summer, singing it out eagerly.

Which meant the possibility of very trashed and very persuaded was up there.
