Text messages had ~~oh so handwavily~~ gone out to all the chaperones on the trip that Summer's Jello Shot Room Party would be happening that Wednesday, of course, followed by an afterparty over at Karaoke Kan's Shibuya location. Because, at this point, a jello shot room party and some sort of afterparty was practically tradition. And to steal a phrase from another character: Tradition? Don't mess with it!

(That was totally how it went, right?)

Either way, through an series of complicated arrangements that allowed her to pull off her usual serving of shots, Summer (and Barry!) had put together a fine selection, and then she went to get the room prepared after spending some time around Tokyo (and, like, sort of chaperoning, too? Because that was what they were there for, right?), and wondering if the size of the room might actually work to their benefit in getting everyone ready to get out to the bar for some karaoke!

This was most certainly not Ignis's usual scene, but he ~~had to round out the cast~~ knew Prompto would be all for it, and, let's be honest, this whole vacation scheme was far more for his sake than it was for Ignis's, although he had to admit, he had found it rather enlightening and inspiring at some times.

Besides, he did have quite a bit of professional curiousity in Summer's shots. They actually were quite impressive, and he had to admite anyone with any particular culinary vision...even if that vision involved a sometimes worrying amount of geletin.

"Ignis," Seivarden greeted. "How are you enjoying the trip? The food is really good, isn't it?"

"Seivarden," Ignis greeted her back with a nod. "It's certainly been an...experience, though the food has certainly more it more than worth it. Quite a bit similar to what's popular back home, although there are enough variations to keep it interesting and new. I have built quite the list of things to try when I get home to Insomnia again. The prince is a rather passionate fisherman; he'll be pleased for the easy excuse to provide a fresh catch."

"He does?" Seivarden said, then continued: "I actually ate poisonous fish yesterday."

"Ahh, yes," said Ignis, his drawl taking on a slight upbeat of interest. "The fugu! I have to admit, I was quite intrigued about that myself. Unfortunately, it hasn't made it onto the agenda yet. How was it? Clearly not too terrible if you're still standing with is today."

"Luckily the restaurant was a good one," Seivarden said with a laugh. "It was nice, but a lot of that was the preparation. But you should try it, I'm told the deadly parts are never served. Have you had any tea?"

"I'm sure you'll not be surprised to hear that I've actually spent most of my focus exploring the coffee culture, myself," Ignis answered, faintly amused by the question, "though I'm sure you've had more than your fair share of cups. Meaning you've done all the leg work for me and can recommend me in the right direction."

"I can," Seivarden said. "I've also bought a tea set."

She had owned a few Japanese ones during her previous time in Fandom, but they had brought back bad memories so she had thrown them out when she returned, along with most of the other possessions she had left behind.

"I look forward to seeing it," Ignis remarked, "I'm sure it's quite nice. I can't imagine you being one to desire anything less than an exceptional vessel in which to prepare your tea, Seivarden. Perhaps if there's time tomorrow, we should go pursue one of the teahouses you've found particularly suits your tastes, or perhaps chance a new one together?"

"We should," Seivarden said. "I walked passed one this afternoon that I plan to visit."

She had already stopped at two others before that.

"You're very welcome to join me."

"I would enjoy that very much," said Ignis, who nodded his gratitude for the invitation. "I believe I shall, if you'll have me. I'm sure Prompto would appreciate the chance to sleep in for a change, as well."

"You wake him too early for his taste?" Seivarden said cheerfully.
