Room 312: Naya Shard Hotel - Wednesday Evening - Summer's School Trip Room Party.
On the one hand, having to move over to this janky-ass theme hotel after getting only just a taste of the luxury hotel she'd been planning to have this party in was a real kick in the teeth. But, on the other hand, this hotel definitely did make Summer feel like she was returning to the roots of the vibes of what a room party should be, making the most with what you had just to slip away from responsibilities to enjoy a few beers and some jello shots with either your fellow students or your fellow teachers. There was a charm to it, a certain humbleness, quaint, really...
...At least that's what she was telling herself.
She'd done small room parties before. Some hotels just didn't have the same space or amenities or cool features as others, and it was fine. There might need to be some spill over into the hallway, and the lines between students and teachers were getting so blurred anyway that it didn't really matter about keeping a bunch of kids out, because most of the kids these days were allnerds pretty quiet and chill anyway. But there was a problem with space of the room, and even that was handled by hiring Gladio and Amaya (it was good to have other characters friends with impressive....lifting capabilities!) to move the bed out of the room, into another one for the time being to give more floor space, and, really, with the bed removed? It wasn't too bad. Cozy. Intimate!
...At least that's what she was telling herself.
Of course, there were moddable snacks on a small table against one wall; beer and soda were chilling in the sink in the bathroom filled with ice, and, of course, there was a table with some liquor and even some local wines she was able to lock down along with the main feature, the infamous jello shots. The pride of the offerings was the ones she made with the Doritos booze Stark had gotten her, fancily dusted with a Doritos crumble, but there were also your expected space themed shots, including a space jello punchbowl. And, of course, she'd also taken inspiration from the island (wistfully, piningly) by securing a few local fruits and whatnot for a series of inspired shots there. You know, things like mai tais and pina colada and mojito, but, you know...more space fruit-y.
A part of her wondered if she should take inspiration from the Astrotorium, too, and that was how she wound up with cotton candy, cinnamon roll, and corn dogs.
When did she have the time and how did she get the resources to pull all those off? Don't ask, she had her ways. Just come in, enjoy the party, try not to bump into too many people in the limited space and or party in shifts, maybe? Either way, there was so much jello, there was some good tunes pumping through her portable speaker, and it was time for the traditional Wednesday Night School Trip Room Party!
[[ open party is open! And flying OCD free because I have had a week, y'all, and it's only Wednesday, and I cannot be bothered to ]]

"Hey you," she said stretching up for a kiss before settling herself on the floor in the hallway. "Anything exciting going on out here?"

She leaned into him a little. "I'm happier out here with less people. And you, obviously."
no subject
"Still glad you decided to stick around a little, though."

A small, considering pause.
"Keep an eye on Iggy around the shots, too, he tends to go a little overboard with those..."

Was there going to be awkwardness later with sleeping arrangements? Maaaaybe. Who could say?

Come on, he had to take that one.
"How's it going, Stark? You handling all the craziness of this whole mess okay?"
no subject
"I can't disagree," he said finally, falling to not to smirk.
"And yes. I'm all right. So far. It helps that it isn't anyone from home doing any of this. Or Summer's grandfather. Are you? And Nell?"

He was really looking forward to catching up with Liliana, especially after today.
"It's really too bad what happened with the other hotel, though," he said. "Nell andI got to help a little with the clean-up, but, man. Talk about an uphill battle."
He did, however, love a good battle.

"And the squirrels said you'd been helping. That's very good of you. I hope they'll be able to rebuild..."
no subject
"And, really, you can pretty much rebuild anything with the right resources. I think they're gonna be fine. Definitely going to take a lot of time and hard work, though."
no subject
Or talking to the right people?
"I hope things here will be fine. It seemed like a lovely place before it was crashed into."
Ignore that little sigh. He'd really liked the original hotel and was sad at missing out on so many amenities.

"You at least get a chance to enjoy anything really nice before the Astrotorium showed up?"
no subject
Alas. There was never enough time. They hadn't gotten to the onsen or the spa or the water park or the pool...
"Did you?"
