Summer was honestly feeling so glad that next year was a milestone birthday that she already had something very simple but important planned, because this one was just stressing her out way too much. Which was dumb, because she shouldn't have to impress anyone on her birthday, but she still, you know, wanted to impress people and no one wanted to be known as the girl with the lame birthday party, and it would be kind of hard to beat a party planet party next year, anyway, but that was, like, a problem for 21-year-old Summer, because the newly minted 20-year-old Summer was just going to let lose and really enjoy the fruits of poor, sad 19-year-old Summer's hard work, dedication, and social anxiety.

Because it was a party planet. And there was no moping allowed. Anyone who gets caught moping gets immediately spaced.

(Not really, because getting spaced was fucking brutal, but whatever, just have fun or something, it's not that hard).

Amaya had to laugh a little at that. "Maybe not something I'll get again," she admitted, "or consider again for any time in the near future, but I am glad I tried it. And it seems perfectly safe, despite the smoke. Neihter of us have exploded yet, anyway."

Seivarden, for some reason, downed the drink, then coughed so much she leaned against Amaya.

"Alright, there," Amaya staggered a bit, not expecting that, then she laughed it off a little, grunting mostly for dramatic effect as she helped Seivarden straighten up, "the night's still young, Captain, we're not in any rush. Unless you're aiming to have someone drag you back to the portal at the end of the night."

"Of course not," Seivarden said. "But now we need new drinks."
