Summer was honestly feeling so glad that next year was a milestone birthday that she already had something very simple but important planned, because this one was just stressing her out way too much. Which was dumb, because she shouldn't have to impress anyone on her birthday, but she still, you know, wanted to impress people and no one wanted to be known as the girl with the lame birthday party, and it would be kind of hard to beat a party planet party next year, anyway, but that was, like, a problem for 21-year-old Summer, because the newly minted 20-year-old Summer was just going to let lose and really enjoy the fruits of poor, sad 19-year-old Summer's hard work, dedication, and social anxiety.

Because it was a party planet. And there was no moping allowed. Anyone who gets caught moping gets immediately spaced.

(Not really, because getting spaced was fucking brutal, but whatever, just have fun or something, it's not that hard).

"Why wouldn't I?" Seivarden asked. "I can see you getting along."

And it would save Tisarwat from breaking her heard and making Amaya feel awkward.

"Yeah?" Summer asked, some of the smirk softening into something a little more genuine and a little less sarcastic. "You think so? I mean, like, obviously, if ther'es a dimension where we're running around space together, then there are at least some variations of ourselves that get along with each other, but, then again, like I said yesterday, sometimes alternate versions of ourselves are real assholes, so that's not really even a good margin, you know? Especially since, you know, there were some other clear...issues with that dimension that I don't think need to be mentioned...."

"Let's not talk about that one," Seivarden said. "But I do think you's get along. I mean it."

"Some things do carry over well between multiple dimensions, too," Summer noted hopefully. "I guess tonight'll be a good trial, right? And if we end up hating each other by the end of it, twell...then I guess we 'll both be wrong."

"At least you might have fun finding that out," Seivarden observed.
