The Space Spa that Summer Never Shuts Up About; Dimension FH-001; Tuesday [07/04].
Figuring that dropping Travis into a full-on space spa in a part of her dimension where Earthlings were a significant minority, as well as humanoid beings in general, was already going to be a lot for Mr. Somehow-Still-Weirded-Out-By-Some-Things, Summer decided to just not tack on an extra space trip by flying to the space spa and set up a direct portal there, which also just saved her on parking, anyway. So through they went, exiting out in front of the sprawling complex that was the resort, nestled as it was in the lush canopy of the jungle-like planet, its air warm but not too humid (especially after coming from Fandom, good god, Maryland, enough with the humidity), so far up that, were they to look over the edge of the canopy, you couldn't even see the surface of the planet for the distance and the clouds clinging to the trees about halfway down.
Good thing they weren't anywhere near the canopy.
"And just....try to be cool, okay?" Summer reminded him, as they arrived in front of the main doors, which naturally slid open with a whoosh because they were in. space. "People are here to relax, not have some googly-eyed Earthling who's never seen a Gromflomite stare at them."
She'd definitely brought her portal gun, too, fully charged, in case he couldn't be cool and she didn't want to wait for Portalocity to move up their departure portal.
[[ for that new firefighter bestie~, and NFB for distance, of course! ]]

Yeah, because that was definitely the most concerning part of it.
"Our keycards have is designated as from Earth, top, so when we go in, it can regulate the air to our optimal breathing preferences, too!"

"I probably could have put your name in there instead of just 'Guest'....oh well! How many other Guest cards are there likely get mixed up with?"
If Travis had an answer, though, it might have to wait, as Summer went traipsing off toward one of the changing cubicles to get herself all good and spa-ready.

Travis sighed and headed for a cubicle of his own.
With a death grip on his card.

Mostly.
"It's a spa, you know. In space! You should try to relax a little! Loosen up. Enjooooy it."

She was very comfortable here, so she had no she was wrapped nicely in her robe when she emerged with all of her clothes being handed to an attendant in exchange for some nice foam-like slippers and a new little tingle of excitement for how absolutely fucking pampered they were going to be, like, oh man.

He went with just wearing the bathrobe. It seemed the 'spa' thing to do.
"So," he was asking as he came out of his changing cubicle. "Are there lockers or -- oh. Hi."
He awkwardly handed his clothes to the waiting attendant.
"That . . . answers that."
