That Space Spa That Summer Never Shuts Up About; Dimension FH-001, Sunday [06/05].
Rest and relaxation, pampering and a potential new hair cut had all been on the agenda for the day, and all of that (and more!) was right at Summer's finger tips at one of her favorite places in the entire multiverse: that goddamn space spa she never shut up about. And she was welcoming a new person into that elaborate space spa experience by dragging Liz along with her to hopefully start nudging her out of the particularly bad funk the current chocobro circumstances had put her into.
Like, seriously, with all the things this place had to offer? If that didn't start making Liz feel better, then Summer might be convinced that nothing would.
Well, you know, save for getting Prompto back, obviously. They were working on it! And she did have news.
She was just saving it for the right time, and the right time was definitely feeling like it could be just soaking in that strawberry-scented mineral bath with a space drink in hand, because it was definitely her favorite part of her favorite place.
"Ohmygoooooooooooood," she groaned happily into a sigh as she closed her eyes and breathed in the relaxing vapors and let the warm water surround her well-massaged muscles, "I seriously want this stuff just pumped into my own bathtub some day, I swear."
[[ for liz! Or, honestly, anyone else who wants in on a sudden spa date, you know Summer would not say no, and NFB for distance, natch ]]

God, she was almost starting to sound like Stark there.
"You're fine," she assured her, with a little bit of insistence to the drawl. "No one's expecting you to be the life of the party or anything. Besides, that's my job. You're going through a whole ordeal right now, and you don't owe anyone anything, least of all being good company.
"That's not even true, anyway," she added, shifting a little and sinking a little lower into the water with a happy sigh. "This has been great, Liz."

Her head tilted, though, as she looked over at Liz.
"Did he have anything useful to say?"

"And speaking of promptly..."
A+, Top Notch, perfect segue right there, Summer, good job.
She looked almost archly back at Liz now, chin lifted almost triumphantly, "I may have news."

At the mention of news and that little segue, Liz froze at that revelation and then a few moments later remembered that breathing was a thing, “Oh?” she asked, “um what kind of news?”

"Also," she added, "I talked to Miguel at the picnic, and apparently, he's got this whole portal hub structure thing in his universe, too, so he's going to take me and see if we don't have better luck there than we've been having with portalocity and my gun."

She sank down into the water, almost feeling completely relaxed for the first time in days.
“Um…actually I’ve been talking to Steven and he said if there was a way we knew any of the names of the Eos Gods that he could ask Konshu if he knew them and see if he could put in a word to them and get a report on how they were doing,”
She knew it was a very slim chance since Konshu was an Egyptian God but it was worth a shot.
“I don’t suppose you happen to know any of their names do you?”

But she shook her head slightly over the rest of it. "I don't," she admitted. "Goose and I were talking about that yesterday, too, like...how none of them really seemed particularly devout, you know? But I also talked to Tisarwat, and she's going to let me poke around her and Lucille's apartment to see if Ignis or Gladio left anything there that might be helpful. Especially since, in the most recent blip, Goose said he overheard Ignis talking about a god. So it definitely seems there's going to be a solid through-line there."

She paused. “I was going to ask Sidon if he knew anything since he’s Prompto’s best friend,” Liz said, “maybe he knows something about the Eos Gods in general?” she considered.

"Just the one, really," she said. "My plan is just to play it on an endless loop for all the communicators tuned into Ignis' frequency. That way, hopefully, whenever whatever it is that's causing them to come through happens, we come through, too. And we'll have it all monitored and maybe figure out the deets after the fact."

"It's a very slim chance," she admitted. "But it may be the only chance we've got."

Liz took that in, staring down at the water as she she focused on the warmth soaking in to her, "I think it's one of the best pieces of news I've had though," Liz smiled at her and she did feel a lot more optimistic and hopeful than she had been these last few days, "I mean, I ...thank you for telling me though, I think I thought everything was hopeless but I guess there are still chances out there right? Even if they're slim ones,"
It was going to be a very harsh reminder why they were called slim chances.

So she just gave Liz a small, reassuring smile instead.
"We'll get there," she promised. "Even if we have to try every damn thing in the book to do it."
