That Space Spa That Summer Never Shuts Up About; Dimension FH-001, Later Friday [06/18].

(Stop me if you've heard this one before...)

A blonde, a brunette, a redhead, and a mannequin walk into a space spa, because it was time for some major pre-party, post-move, post-Nazi-fighting pampering, and there was no way they weren't going to be making the most of it! There was a reason this place was one of Summer's favorite places in the multiverse. The experience was diverse and extensive, everything from mani-pedis with polish made from elements that could glow or sparkle in certain ways that Earth paints just could not pull off, to space hot rock massages, space seaweed wrap, space mud baths and hot springs (which were, you know, by their nature, way better than the terrestrial versions!). And just imagine how much more a massuesse with six arms could do over one with just two! The robes and towels were a soft space-cotton blend that felt like you were literally wrapped in a cloud, and the view was gorgeous, as the whole restort was nestled neatly at the top of the tall trees on a planet where the skies were almost always a gorgeous array of beautiful colors.

This was so, so overdue, but Summer was glad she finally had the chance to drag Rey and Annie (and Dolores!) here.

Summer, for her part, was definitely spending a good deal of her time just soaking it up in the space onsen, sipping away at some sweet space wine, and just soaking it all uuuuuuup.

"More or less. Some things still get moved around, but everyone's pretty comfortable," she said. "We keep getting more people, too, so it looks more lived in."

"You guys get a Starbucks yet?" Annie teased, and look how she was restrained and went for the chain coffee shop that Rey might actually know from the mainland. "Though actually that's really great that you keep getting more people."

Because that meant that the good guys were gaining in numbers, right?

"Yeah. It's very strange being around that many at once," Rey said, because it was kind of her first time like that, "but it means we're doing something right."

"BB-8 still hanging out?" Annie asked hopefully. She would not be able to bear it if he'd, like, gone away to Adorable Robot College or something in her absence.

"Your new best friend?" Rey teased. "Yes. He's with Poe a lot of the time but if I'm onplanet he might stay around me. Which is why I keep telling John BB-8 likes him."

"He's so cute, Rey. He's like a robotic puppy," Annie said with a perhaps-envious sigh. "Have you and John gone back since we moved everyone?"

It had been a busy couple of months. She'd heard about palace time but not about cute boyfriend trips!

"A couple times. We recently realized we can just go back when we want go instead of waiting for me to get called back," Rey said.

"Just to hang out?" Annie nodded appreciatively. "See, that's better than, like, only going back when there's a problem. This way it's not like it's all stressful trips or whatever."

"Yeah. It's not really a vacation, and I still have to train and all, but it's nice to get back," she said. "I miss people and John actually likes it there, and he hasn't gotten tired of the Resistance stuff yet."

"His hair, though," Annie noted with a wince. "Like, mine got crazy there."

And while her hair had a little bit of body to it sometimes, John's curls were, like, ridiculous and enviable.

"He can put it up," Rey pointed out, like that helped with her flyaways at all. "I kind of like when his gets a little crazy."

She didn't call him cute to other people much but she thought it was cute.

Annie could maybe kind of tell, just from that comment. And now look how cute you were, Rey, aww.

"Remember when you were all 'oh that dude's just a friend' at Halloween?" Annie teased. "And now here we are, with you taking him home with you and liking his crazy hair."

"I was lying then," Rey said easily.

She hadn't really accepted that she was lying, but she'd totally been lying.

"I kind of suspected you were lying at the time," Annie told her with a smile. "Or at least, like, lying to yourself."

If nothing else, she would have probably developed some kind of crush on John and his abs at that party, had she not had her own developing situation at the time.

"We we're getting kind of obvious, without realizing how obvious we were getting," Rey admitted. "That didn't last long after Halloween."

Days. A matter of days.

"Oh, yeah. Like, the good witch costume was totally like an adult version of pulling your pigtails," Annie agreed with a nod. "It was super obvious. And, like, adorable, for the record."

Still was adorable! Annie was just kind of thrilled that her best friends were seemingly as happy in their relationships as she was in hers. And maybe one of these days they'd manage to actually hang out with their boyfriends together. (Though, like, Annie had to think that John and Diego would get along with each other better than either of them with Barry. But what did she know? Maybe they'd all just bond over mysterious dude things.)

"And now he comes home with me," Rey smiled. And now they got weird about sleeping apart!
