Yeah. No.
Never let it be said that Summer Smith didn't have a good head on her shoulders. She knew what was up. She listened to radio. She knew that the multiverse was a sick fuck with a twisted-ass sense of humor. She knew she was just one in a wave of animal transformations that had seized the island this last week, and she noticed that an awful lot of the others in that wave were starting to turn back. She, much to her disappointment, hadn't yet, but she could only suspect her time was nearly up, which meant that she would be changing back at any moment, and if anyone thought for a second she'd let that happen when she was out and about and lacking clothes, well, then, they clearly didn't know Summer.
She wasn't going anywhere until she was back to normal.
She had texted Apu (which was an...long and arduous process, but she did it, dammit) to bring over some food and supplies for her, she had Netflix, she had comfy pillows, she had a small stick to use to shoo off Leroy if he thought it would be cute to bother her (seriously, someone around here finally gets a crush on her, and it's a goddamn radio squirrel??). She was set. If she needed anything, she'd just ask Apu, she had no reason to leave the safety of her own apartment until she was back to human, transformed in the privacy of her own home, with plenty of clothes within arm's reach.
She'd tempted fate more than enough this weekend, thank you very much.
