Gaia; Galaxy Unknown; Dimension FH-001. ????? [05/30 FT].
Summer and Morty | "Aaaaand...." Morty's hand lifted from the controls, holding stick dripping with goopy, make-shift ink, where he'd been marking all the buttons while Summer drew in more of the ship's knowledge to dictate which controls were which, "that last one should be..." Summer sucked in another long hit of the tube, her dialated eyes tinted purple and glazed with a sheen of pink as they widened with another rush; she held it a moment before breathing out and gasping, "the start button." "Perfect!" said Morty, adding that information to the dashboard while Summer smiled dreamily at the knowledge coursing through her."I guess we're ready! Let's show Mom and Dad what video games and partying," he grinned widely as he reached out to grab the two joysticks that flanked him on either side, "are all about." And with that, his finger decended decisvely on the Start button, immediately causing the ship to come to life, whirring as light shot through it and the engine began to finally turn once more. Morty pushed forward on the joysticks, his thumb toggling a button on the side, boosting the engines, revving until finally, finally... Something...exploded...off of the ship, which remained where it was, held down by the unknown years of roots and vines holding it in place. |
Summer | "Jesus Christ," Summer's massive purple pupils stared at Morty while a little bit of drool dribbled down her chin, "was that the wings?" |
Morty | Just as she said it, one of the vines holding the ship in position suddenly snapped, releasing the ship, now with its engines at full blast but no wings to keep it steady. It shot forward, wildly spinning in the air without anyone to control or direct it. Summer clung to her seat in sudden, stark, chemically enhanced terror as the ship somersaulted through the air and Morty's fingers desperately flew over the dashboard. "It's...this is not like a video game!" he cried out desperately. |
Summer | "Ohmygod!" Summer shouted as the whole world suddenly seemed to be coming at her in a technicolor nightmare of shifting shapes and sounds. "Make it stop! Make it stop!" |
Morty | "It's not like a video game at all!" Morty screeched in a panic. "How do I make it stop?" |
Summer | "I don't know!" Summer shouted back desperately. "I'm fucking high!" |
Morty | The ship collided into an impact, turning over violently and tossing both of them out of their seats, into the air, throwing them down onto the floor. With the ship still rumbling beneath them, Summer pushed herself up on her hands and knees as she threw up, nothing but acrid blue bile that clung to her face coming out, splashing onto Morty and getting into his mouth, too. "Oh, God!" he realized, staring in horror at the goo covering his face, his hands. "Now I'm high, too!" |
Another sharp shift from the ship that threw them fast down a corridor as the vehicle shot straight forward at full speed, climbing up a mountain like it was a ramp with enough fire and power behind it to launch it straight into the atmmosphere...and beyond.
Until it finally found its final resting place in a new object that it shot itself straight into, with an impact so powerful, it only took that one last toss to leave Summer and Morty in an unconscious heap in a small puddle of blue vomit on the floor.
